LGBTQ+ Affirming Therapy
You don’t have to explain your existence here.
I offer virtual LGBTQ+ affirming therapy for adults in Florida and Pennsylvania. If you’re queer, questioning, trans, nonbinary, or still figuring out what feels true for you, therapy can be a place to come back to yourself — without having to translate, defend, or shrink who you are.
Not a therapist who says they’re “LGBTQ+ friendly” and then spends half the session asking you to explain what queer means. One who understands that being queer or questioning in this world — in your family, your community, your own head — is its own specific kind of complicated. My work is grounded, relational, and affirming of the complexity that comes with identity, family, belonging, and being seen clearly.
How therapy can help
Therapy can support you if you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in old patterns, or worn down by the pressure to be legible to everyone else. It can also be a place to explore gender, sexuality, relationships, family dynamics, religious wounds, self‑trust, and what it means to build a life that actually fits.
You don’t have to be in crisis to come to therapy — sometimes it’s enough to know you want a space where you can be more honest.
Who this is for
You might be in the right place if:
You’re navigating your identity and figuring out what it means for your relationships, your family, and your sense of self.
You’re out in some spaces and not others — and the code‑switching is wearing you down.
Your family of origin is complicated around your identity.
You’ve had therapists before who were fine, but didn’t really get it.
You’re feeling the exhaustion of being misunderstood or misread, even by people who care about you.
You want a space where you don’t have to do the emotional labor of educating your therapist.
